A Szegedi Szabadtéri Játékok legnagyobb színpadtechnikai fejlesztése valósul meg jövőre. A Zorbát, a Csárdáskirálynőt, az Elfújta a szelet, a Háry Jánost és a Mamma Miát kivételes körülmények közt láthatják jövőre a Dóm téri nézők. A változásról és a műsorról Herczeg Tamás igazgató és Harangozó Gyula művészeti igazgató tájékoztatta a sajtót kedden.
Temetése április 18-án 15 órakor lesz a Belvárosi temetőben.

Soha nem látott körülmények közt rendezik meg idén a fesztivált
Igazi fesztivál-előadással indítja 2014-es évadát a Szegedi Szabadtéri Játékok: a Zorba, a görög táncműben a Győri Balett társulata, a Szeged Táncegyüttes néptáncosai, a Szegedi Szimfonikus Zenekar és a Szegedi Nemzeti Színház énekkara is szerepet kapott. A produkció különleges, 3D vetítéstechnikával kerül színre.

Opera productions in the Open Air Festival
At the beginning of European theatricals, in Ancient Greece, theatre meant open air stages and musical performances; however, the natural medium of performing operas has always been the enclosed theatre. My talk will go through the difficulties of meteorology, acoustics and stage technique that operas performed in the open air have to cope with. The disadvantages – at least in the cases of some pieces of the repertoire – can be contrasted with significant advantages. Consequently, it is worth searching for and bringing forward the solutions to the problems, as well as the possible compromises that can be made. Discussing the repertoire policy and technical solutions of Szeged Open Air Theatre and other renowned open air opera festivals, I will attempt to describe the tendencies of open air opera performance, and within that I will also draw up – deliberately in a subjective way – the role and desired future of Szeged Open Air Festival in national and international opera life.
Szabadtéri operajátszás – operajátszás a Szabadtérin
Noha az európai színjátszás kezdeteinél, az antik Görögországban a színház szabadtéri színpadokat és zenés produkciókat jelentett, az operajátszás természetes közege a kőszínház. Előadásom sorra veszi a meteorológiai, akusztikai, színpadtechnikai akadályokat, melyekkel a szabadba kikerülő operáknak meg kell küzdeni. A hátrányokkal – legalábbis a repertoár bizonyos darabjai esetén – komoly előnyök is szembeállíthatók, tehát érdemes megkeresni és bemutatni az említett problémák megoldását, illetve a vállalható kompromisszumokat. A Szegedi Szabadtéri Játékok és nevezetes szabadtéri operafesztiválok műsorpolitikájáról, technikai megoldásairól szólva kísérletet teszek a szabadtéri operajátszás tendenciáinak megfogalmazására, és ezen belül – vállaltan szubjektív módon – felvázolom a Szegedi Szabadtéri Játékok szerepét, kívánatosnak tartott jövőjét a magyar és nemzetközi operaéletben.
